All 100% of the funds raised go directly back into the community through needed services such as eye surgeries, exams and eyeglasses, guide dogs, and academic scholarships.
April 30, 2026, Awards Night at Dawson County High School. The Dawsonville Lions Club gave 11 scholarships worth $20,500 to graduating seniors.
We Serve
The Dawsonville Club was founded in 1953 by a small group of Dawson County citizens who embraced the Lions philosophy and shared the desire to give something back to the community in which they lived. The mission of the Lions Club is to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all members for humanitarian needs. This is achieved by providing financial support and voluntary services to citizens and organizations of Dawson County in need of charitable endeavors. We meet on the 1st & 3rd Thursday at 7:00 P.M (Check for exceptions) at Papa’s Place 3651 Dawson Forest Rd Dawsonville GA 30534
